From the famous Paris Flea Market called Les Puces de Saint Ouen, in the 18 th arrondissement of Paris. Vintage wooden butchers block from the 1940s-1950s.

This professional piece is very heavy(about 43 lbs), and is beautifully constructed, with four metal support braces, one at each corner. This piece has a lovely patina of age and use over decades. The middle portion dips slightly, demonstrating years of use; multiple knife marks are visible along the front apron.

In good vintage condition showing age appropriate wear and evidence of daily use. Still very sturdy and strong. Some discoloring to top as one would expect due to the porous nature of wood. This would make a great chopping block, resting on a table or counter. A unique, one of a kind addition to your kitchen. Could also have a new life as a table top with new/salvaged legs attached.
