19th century Brown cutting block from a château 29¼. Carved from one piece of wood, this superb'billot' or butcher's block dates from the nineteenth-century. Originally used in a chateau by the cooking staff for preparing meat (usually from hunting expeditions). A rare find that will make a statement as a side table or lamp table in both contemporary and classic interiors. Note the acorn-shaped decoration underneath.
