I personally bought this in the late 1970's from a butcher shop in historic Chester County, PA. That was closing after many years.
Legs were worn at bottom, so we added matching bun feet, which also brought up height to a more comfortable height. There are blemishes, dings, minor cracks and some chips missing at edges, from meat cleaver. Certainly to be expected considering this piece is over 120 years old!
Top has been sanded to even out as it was worn. 33" high (block itself is 11"), approx. Overall a stunning piece to add to your farmhouse/country kitchen. Legs can be removed for transport.
