This is antique butcher block is from France and dates to the late 1800's. This is a genuine old one, well worn but in good condition. It is made of solid wood and held together with iron straps. This piece is sturdy, strong and in good condition with the wear typical of a genuine old French butcher block. Note that there are many old woodworm holes throughout the piece (see photos). The legs are short and the piece could be used as a countertop butcher block or could easily make a nice plant stand.
