Antique Primitive Checkerboard Wood Inlay Butcher Block Type Construction Worn

  

Each square is an individual piece of wood. Somewhat like a butcher block. With an inlay strip around the field of squares. Look to be stained light and dark brown, not paint. Well worn but displays well.

17 by 17.5 by 1.25 inches. I see no signature or marks.
