Butcherblock Butchers Table - Full Size - Slab 4 thick, 3 ft wide, 7+ ft long. An actual 3-7/8 thick solid wood butcher's table from a local grocery store that, up until a few years back, still butchered its own meat. These butcher tables were planed down each year to provide the butcher a fresh surface to cut on.

The table sits on a stand that brings the table to a normal 29 working height but not suitable for sliding a chair up underneath for dining. A different type of stand could be constructed to use it as a farm style dining table. One could remove a rail in the long side of the stand for a desk configuration. This is a beautiful 7 foot long slab of solid butcher block wood!

It weighs somewhere near 250 lbs. The finish is worn and discolored in several spots but is easily resurfaced. This is a solid piece of wood, I'm not sure what type of wood it is (looks like maple to me) but the stain and finish are a light to medium color which means you can sand and finish it to a decent range of colors to suit your preference.
