The only downside is that the "back side" which will rest against the wall is slightly rounded and must be sawed to achieve square corners... Not easy with a heavy slab of 1 1/2 thick wood. To get the proper overhang so there are no drips down the cabinet face, we had to add a 1" by 1 1/2" strip of dark wood (we used walnut) which involved drilling for dowel pins, glue, and wide clamps.

The counters arrived 2 days earlier than expected which was a nice surprise, and it arrived nicely packed in perfect condition. I followed the instructions and oiled as soon as I unwrapped the plastic.
