Vintage, Authentic, 1930's Era Butcher Block Antique

  

This is a vintage, authentic, 1930's era butcher block antique made of maple wood. It is a rectangular-shaped table with a medium wood tone finish and stands at 31 inches tall.

The legs are removable for transportation. The table measures 40 inches in length and 30 inches in width. It is made up of hundreds of smaller 2" x 2" blocks with dovetail and tenon joints. Wilkes in an old grocery store in St Matthews, SC in 1972 or 1973. Be sure and check out the last 3 photos showing some wear and an ill advised patch job.

It has not been used for the last 50 years.
